We have truly been have a good year for Light Novel to Anime Adaptations. First we have Re Zero Starting Life in Another World Season 2 breaking records... then Mushoku Tensei going above and beyond with its passion. Now we have 86 Eighty-Six that has that same level of passion and love put into it. Seriously this series is a masterpiece and I need more of it. we did not have any rush and it really is what i hope ln adaptation will receive, a gold standard that others would follow.

btw chibi, if you do plan on reading light novels.

@jdoggivjc3 years ago What made season 1 of 86 so great wasn' t just the faithfulness of the adaptation of the ln, but the quality of the anime original content that was the quality of the anime original adaptation is something i' m really looking forward to in season 2. The reason for this is based on the end of season 1, believe it or not, asato doesn' t write a whole lot about lena' s side of the story in volumes 2 and 3, which is a real shame because what little of it she did write really has most of us ln readers wanting a whole lot more, and as someone who reads and watches this series i' m one of those that hopes that the anime gives this to us in anime original content. ...Expand 3
