Yet, its difficult to get it across people who arent survivors, either survivors come off as normalising r*pe or people think its ok to joke about r*pe without context or nuance.
natalie is right about how sometimes dark comedy is best spoken in safe spaces. Probably the reason why my best friend and i can go about r*pe jokes between the two of us, but it wouldnt be proper if we were to do it in public.
