Prospecting for Pegmatites - Beryllium Mine

While searching for pegmatites, we found and explored the entrance to an old Beryllium Mine. Inside we found books of mica, quartz, feldspar's, many garnets and of course beryl crystals. We plan on returning to this mine to fully explore it as well as the mountain itself which covers many miles. The mountain is made up of granodiorite and schist rocks.
