Eggless Bajra / Pearl millet cake
Gluten free cake. It is super healthy and tasty at the same time . Now never compromise your taste buds for health.
FOR BATTER:
Bajra / pearl millet flour- 1 cup
Coconut sugar / castor sugar- 3/4 cup
Cocoa powder- 1/4 cup
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
Flax egg replacer- 1tbsp ground/ powdered flax seeds + 3 tbsp water (15 minutes to rest)helps in binding.
Ghee/oil - 2 tbsp
Milk- 1 cup
Salt- 1 pinch
FOR BAKING:
OVEN- in a preheated oven for 35 to 40 mins at 180°
MICROWAVE- (on convection mode) preheat and bake for 35 minutes at 180°
COOKER- cover and preheat for 10 minutes
And bake for 35 minutes on medium flame.
(Time can vary depending upon your equipment. To avoid overbaking / underbaking keep checking in intervals.)
Don't forget to do a toothpick test as shown in the video.
