Scratch built steering for RC toy car PART #7 Receiver FAIL TC117HS. I wanted to do a bit more work on this project but when I came to demonstrate the modification I found that the receiver had died or to be more specific the TC117HS chip had fried. The forward backward motor was still fine but the steering output was only pulsing briefly instead of driving the motor. I have uploaded the video anyway as the centering mechanism idea may still be useful for other people. The TC117HS is a Single-channel DC motor driver IC Filmed using Canon Powershot SX60 HS Edited using Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition The truck used in this series was originally converted to solar power in this video /watch/qPFhMcorTvRd61D_nRLVS1BrSRPx2a5ALP=tsil?kM1Xjdj_ZnK_h Here is a selection of related playlists Scratch built steering for RC toy car /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB3mmQfxfz6o_JPHkjxpK9zu Assembly playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB3GPoB5RrGLxpq1fxHQhZ1e Disassembly playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB1GrgALJEle2lVqOrR1sX6V Electric Toy Cars playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB0yTUYmJSS3ML5xxaBzHl3e Radio Control Remote Control playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB13Xcquw4Ff09MQzTPjeVkI Radio Control Cars - Grandad Style /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB0hs_uRx0mCbsNsQSKE0i_3 RC Ducted Fan Boat /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB3d0TvbCZftqbS4Fh-1911Q RC Converting my Playmobil Conlines Titan Cargo Ship to RC /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB3oBfGysVG4ebHEe7JOfDuE RC upgrade New Bright Corvette /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB32Nv7aIGH_EvNJ6L8j3Luv RC Rescue Recovery boat /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB1WH8Pe1q86jf25zcTZ7ViB Following many requests I have created a Facebook page although there is not much there yet https://www.facebook.com/grandadisanoldman/ Merchandise - I suggest you check both of these links if you are interested as the prices will vary and the shipping charges will be different. http://www.redbubble.com/people/grandadiaom/portfolio http://grandadisanoldman.cottoncart.com/ Oldest videos /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/videos?flow=grid&view=0&sort=da Most Popular /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/videos?sort=p&flow=grid&view=0 Newest videos /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/videos?sort=dd&view=0&flow=grid I have thousands of videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan My "GrandadsOtherChannel" channel is generally where I will host the videos that give extra detail or longer versions of the videos I post on my main channel /channel/UC2mp_L8RoxMyw3ewwSecZ6Q
