@wololo104 years ago Brazilian here, you're 100% right. But Fallen has done nothing that wasn't already here, Brazil was world champ in 2006. I'm 33 YO and everybody here was playing CS in 2003, 2004, 2005, the scene was already HUGE without Fallen, he just was the sucess of his generation, not a scene creator or whatever you call it. ... 14

@NBAcs4 years ago I fully agree with Spunj, mibr felt their ego been hurt just because they had to wait the call to rollback the round without a prompt response by Furia players... at the end furia did the right thing and Fer and KnG started to throw shit on their social media just because they thought that Furia players had to take place saying right way to rollback... Im from Brazil and I cheer for both but MIBR never won anything relevant on their entire path with this New org but they keep acting like alphas without a pack expecting respect without showing none and saying whatever they want thinking that they are the owners of the brazilian cs scenario ... 23

@himynameismike4 years ago You should try and see both sides. The thing is, MiBR have always been the ones that provided fairplay to their counterparts. They never hesitated to provide the other team with instant acceptance of a remake request, even when the series was very tight. So they felt like not receiving this type of treatment back was some sort of backstabbing, as if Furia did not believe they were actually lagging or something. It wasn't the case, of course, but that's the sentiment that was passed on through their attitude, and sure, they shouldn't have raised hell on Twitter, but I understand where the frustration was coming from. ... 8

@nicholasp85564 years ago agree about playing by the book/rules. but c9 did a reset round lots of times like during dreamhack against NIP in cache (it was a 3 v 1 situation) or in inferno (forgot playing against who). So there is 2 sides of everything, it just depends on how u gonna see it. But it was legal or allowed for Furia not to reset the round. And MIBR was pretty fucked recently ( not performing at its peek) so maybe they are a bit salty and mishandled the situation ... 1
  • @
@GustavoPereira-wy7wv4 years ago People love to judge without knowing anything... Fer's complaints were about furia players not restarting the round and make 400,000 viewers wait for more than an hour to restart the match. It is bad for both teams, the players from furia should just accept to return the round and after the match would be way more liking to watch...
There would be no problem of mibr liying cause everyone could see the demo later and see if they really froze or were making excuses to restar the round.

@rafaeltosoni51234 years ago Eu me senti assim também. ... 1

@edusilva.mp44 years ago Fallen has already apologized for the damage caused by his tweet, was not his intention at all. The only one that seemed wrong to me is Fer for personnaly attacking the FURIA's members. MIBR is the one of the old school teams in CS brazilian scenario, many of the problems of the games and camps were discussed by the players themselves in early competitions, and this behavior is present in the way the MIBR organization works today, unlike FURIA which already has a more modern and correct view of organizational hierarchy. ... 3

@enricoramos63084 years ago Ok, mibr players tried to reach out to furia’s players, they were COMPLETELY ignored for minutes and more minutes, Art only responded when Kng got stressed and was clearly upset in the chat. Meanwhile, Dead and Guerri apparently didnt communicate at all, the video of fallen and fer lagging was sent directly to the admins. In the video fer was with an HE when he froze, and they froze for 10 seg, that’s when Art kills him, Fer was not awping, fer was not even peeking, he was going to throw an HE and he froze for fucking 10 sec. What the admins saw? ANOTHER HE had been thrown before fer froze, and it had done 5 damage on Kscerato, so by the rule book they couldn’t give the rollback, and that’s exactly what the admins told dead. Because of 5 hp damage done against a furia player, they were not going to give mibr the rollback. Alright, Dead told fallen the round was not going to reset, and now the discussion was whether to continue in the server or change it. So the discussion about the round HAD ENDED, can you guys understand that? It was finished, there wasnt going to be a rollback. So let’s recap the situation so far:
1- Mibr tried to talk to furia.
    2- furia ignored mibr.
3- art said Guerri and Dead were supposed to deal with the admins.
4- Dead and Guerri didn’t communicate.
5- The admins decided there was not going to be a rollback.
6- Now Dead is trying to change to server.
What can anyone on mibr’s side do in the situation they were up until this point? They did what ANYONE would do and in my opinion the right thing, they tried everything, they tried to talk with furia (THEY IGNORED), they tried to talk to the admins (THEY DECLINED THE REQUEST), now the only thing left to do was to use their fanbase to try and put pressure in the org. If you read the tweet fallen did, he was trying to say why he didn’t agree with the rule book and showing how unfair that round was. AFTER he posted that on Twitter, Guerri talked to the admins and they gave mibr the rollback. Let me tell you how I would feel if I were a Mibr player: Disrespected, neglected, and I would feel like they only had considered the rollback because my fanbase put pressure on furia players and org (later we would discover that guerri never watched the video until fallen posted it, he said it was not about the pressure, it was about being fair). So no matter how I look into this, Fallen did the best he could, and if he didn’t post that video, that round would’ve gone the way of furia, probably costing them the map. What happened afterwards: Fer saying all those things about furia players, that’s wrong, that’s irresponsible and unprofessional, what fallen did? The exact same thing I would’ve done, my respect and admiration for fallen just grow by the day. He never insulted furia, he never incited his fans to go trash talk furia, his work ethic is simply untouched, not the same can be said about fer and Kng though, but it REALLY pisses me off how you guys want to put it all on fallen’s shoulder for making the RIGHT call and exposing that video. Shame on fer, shame on the admins, Shame on the managers (both Dead and Guerri, for not communicating), but not on Fallen, you gotta grow up 10 years and build 1% of what he’s done just so you can try and make a case about him being irresponsible.

@caio72484 years ago Here I clearly see the perspective of someone that has only seen the tip of the iceberg of the controversy. I don't want to write a lot, might do it if someone asks, but the thing that was lacking is that FURIA were not angels, they were really bad and unsportsmanlike that night. I would not even say the players, but Guerri, and if he is going to take all the responsibility out of the players, he is getting all the consequences and blame too. Still valid criticism about dumb fans sending hate. Fer tweet was made when disinformation reigned, and he probably would have not sent that tweet if he knew exactly what was going on. Taking all the variables and in mind, I think that FalleN posted that tweet as in their perspective with the information they had and the mood they were in, they needed to make the situation public otherwise there would be no rollback (that if you think that there should not have been a rollback you are braindead cmon it was obvious). Recommend to search the facts and go more in-depth about the issue and you will probably see where my conclusions are coming from. ... 6

@Wu-wl8fr4 years ago Chad you should check the Vods and Clips before commenting first! I didn't like MIBR way of doing but FURIA is the same.
When ART killed FER their screen FROZE ALREADY! And ART LIED, saying that he saw fer moving and after killing fer he said he saw another person jumping!
His own coach did interview with GAULES and said that! Art later said the SAME THING! So he lied by being dishonest! Check both clips on that same time, fer never moved, fallen never moved! So they did lie! OF course MIBR could fix in another way, but put yourself in their place.
Everything on line, you're major winners and you have to prove that you are lagging? Every single time a pro say Not Live, nobody doubt the others!

@1luckXD4 years ago i really think fer talking shit is fucked up, but , man you can just send the decision for your coach, who decides whats gonna happen is the players always have been the players, and fer really as unprofessional when he make it public, but like, if you see he streams he always playing with furias players and he was become friends of then, and its like a friendship if your friend do a shit you gonna be upset because you cant just take it like if it was from another random person if you watch fer you gonna be able to see he always have been like this, he just exploded because he cant imagine the fact of furia players who they are playing everyday was taking a decision like no mather what they say its not true. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH ...

@Martsender4 years ago Sry but morally u are wrong, if it was the opposite MIBR would have requested a restar as soon as Fúria told about the bug. MIBR are always FairPlay, and they wouldn’t lie about a bug, and even more we can see in our culture that in a sport like football for example if there is a bad play or anything that could require an intervention the players always try to resolve it themselves and don’t wait for the ref. So that’s what got MIBR upset, it’s the fact that furia players didn’t request the restart, which kind of passed a feeling of trying to gain a unfair point in a very important match ... 1

@DiegoQueirozBan4 years ago Missinformation.... Guerri (Furia's coach) spoke out his version and it is completely different from what is being said here. Fact is:
1 - Not live could only be called after they were not stuck anymore. The damage done before the glitch was 5 damage on FURIA through a mibr HE.
2 - When not lived was called, Furia DID NOT RESPOND, for 5 minutes until they respond that their coach, was dealing with the situation, coach that TOLD their players to DO NOT respond to ANY message in SAY and let him deal with the situation.
3 - FURIA SAID they did not believe at first that MIBR had glitched out and was SAYING THAT when Art killed Fer, he was not stuck. It was fast, so it wasan't noticible.
4 - 10-15 MINUTES AFTER NO RESPONSE FROM GUERRI OR FURIA, Fallen uploaded the video TO PROVE THEY WERE STUCK. So, Furia decided IN AN INSTANT to call restart. After that, on their social media, they tweeted that they were proud of their players for being so honorable and giving the fairplay to MIBR.
5 - After everything stated above, BASED ONLY ON GUERRI(FURIA'S COACH SPEECH), I will sum it up for you in a easy way to understand:
FURIA doubted MIBR, which is OK, its their right to do so, and didn't want to restart the round.
NOTE THAT, before the game, one of FURIA's players was lagging out and MIBR INSTANTLY DECIDED TO CHANGE SERVERS, TO A SERVER THAT WAS MORE LAGGY TO THEN THAN FURIA, so they could play on what would be closer to even terms.
So, after doubting, WHAT THEY DID NOT DO was discuss the situation trough with MIBR coach and kept their silence, leaving it to the judge to decide, which again, not wrong.
THE MAIN ISSUE that was the motive of the whole drama was: Furia not only doubted MIBR, which by their own words, they believed it was a lie, but after restarting the round, through a tweet, tried to make the whole situation with "WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS". That's when MIBR took it personal, before that, everything was cool, they played together every stream, root for each other and support each other the best they could.
If you KNOW portuguese, you can check everything I said in videos, specially GUERRI's speech.
I'm sorry @HLTVorg, but this video here is pure BS.

@pirikitim4 years ago This is such a one-sided discussion. People forget about sportsmanship and the fact that Furia did not respond ANY message from MIBR players for more than 15 minutes, that is why Fallen posted the video and funny enough, they just restarted the round AFTER Fallen showed the world what the were going through.
You don't play by the book when you see you are in a unfair advantage. That is why we see across every sport people doing the exact opposite of they should do just to make the game fair. You DON'T win at every cost

@JoaoVictor-yp2fv4 years ago I think you all are missing some important pieces (Versão PT-BR mais em baixo):
I don't know about Furia's players having that admiration towards MIBR's players. This "Fallen and Fer are idols to us!" thing is too damn romanticized, you guys are overthinking that part. It may have felt that way for Furia roster in the past, but when they got to know MIBR's players in person, they realized "hey, they're humans just as we are!". Until all this shit happened, they used to play CS together for fun, chat, record videos and whatnot. For instance, HEN1 and his brother, LUCAS1, were part of what Fallen made for Brazil, they too helped pave the road and helped Brazil's scene to grow, hence why I say they're close and don't have that fan-idol relationship, and that's only one example. I think that's what is missing from a lot of people who give their 5 cents about this situation: in the end, believe it or not, they are normal people. And that, being a regular human, is connected to another topic to this situation:
Fallen, Fer, KNGV, TACO, fnx, boltz, (...), come from an era where it all was more... homey? The players all knew each other in tournaments, they themselves were the ones who decided things, it was all a lot less rigid than it is nowadays. And that's the problem. Everything nowadays is so fucking robotic, strict... so lame and tasteless. This side of the internet (and kind of the society too) is just putrid, pure garbage: you no longer is able to express what you feel, to say what you think without ever wondering if it will please everyone, no one cares for the good you do, only the mistakes you eventually commited. Take Fer for example: no one ever talks about how well he treated Meyern, how he made manito feel at home; how he puts a smile in the face of his fans in his streams, how he talks with them; no, they only talk about the few times Fer's explosive personality aligns with certain "sensitive" topics and are interpreted in some wrong way.
So, I don't know if some of you forgot, but I'll remind you just in case: the players are people too, fortunately, not robots (actually, that's where we're going if things keep this way). They too get frustrated, sad, whatever. It's so fucking disgusting to see people expecting them to apologize (they were forced to, at times) when they state what they think/feel on twitter or whatever man... Stop constraining players' personalities, stop forcing them to be the same polite, blond guy with blue eyes...
And last: stop generalizing people. What? Do you think no one can think for themselves? That a mere tweet is going to make up the mind of one's fans? Specificaly in my case, being a brazilian, it offends me that people actually think that, meaning that we are just some ape with an empty mind. People who actually think that are so full of themselves, enjoying looking down on other people, thinking we get influenced over anything. We can think for ourselves! Please, stop believing that 10 brazilian kids who hate and troll in the internet is the entire brazilian fanbase. "lOoK, fEr iS uPsEt aNd sWeRiNg iN HiS sTrEaM, mY gOd, nOw AlL bRaZiLiAnS aRe gOiNg tO sPrEaD hAtE, oH nOoO". Thank you.
    TL;DR: fuck off.
    =====Versão PT-BR=====
Obrigado.

@WilborArthur4 years ago That’s not what we do in Brazil, Fúria knows that! Fallen was wrong when he posted I agree, but the first error was fúria that do not give the fair play that we USELY do here in Brazil... in Brazil leave to de admins is not professional... they do not apologize because not give fair play is wrong in Brazil... ...

@danielcaparroz2994 years ago There are some nuances there... MIBR says that Furia was refusing to restart the round no matter what. Kng was trying to reach them by in game chat and no response from Furia in 15 min (they are all Friends and play together constantly).. and then Fallen posts the video as last resource... so Furia suddenly changes opinion, just because they got afraid of public reaction.. MIBR got mad because Furia was doubting their word.. they say they know each other, and as 2x Major champions, they don't need to lie in an internet championship to ask for a restart.. that's what this is about ... 1

@awpaka32954 years ago you guys actually dont know the whole story, wtf. ''Those kids'' didnt answer Kng, Fallen and Taco in the game chat. When Mibr said NL they continued paying. Well, its not illegal, but its not cool. MIBR/SK/LG always restarted the round, and didnt doubt the other team ...

@paulom59864 years ago No one of USA know what happen here in Brasil. Fúria players are really arrogant and assholes. Except for Hen and Kascerato. But Art isn't a god person, he isn't profissional like you all have been saying. You don't know him.
You guys don't know the amount of bullying I received in internacional fóruns, just because I'm from Brasil, I have been called a monkey a hundred times. Just because a few brasilians said sheet on Twitter. You don't understand Portuguese, you don't know what Gaules and the majority of Brasil csgo fans are saying. Gaules is against hate, and trash talk, but he really thinks Leaf cheated, and he will stand up for this, like everyone in Brasil.
